Writers Wanted

Want to write articles, submit news stories, and/or opinion pieces for the site? We’d love to have you! We’re mostly looking for people willing to contribute semi-regularly, but if you just want to do a one-time guest post, we’ll definitely consider and appreciate your submission.

You don’t need to have a degree in journalism to write for us, of course, but the ability to string some words together in a comprehensible way (without it resulting in too much of a grammatical atrocity) definitely helps.

HockeyPunx submissions should primarily focus on hockey, but anyway you can tie it into punk culture or put a punk spin on it would be awesome. You’re allowed to have a particular team bias, but we’re not looking for writers to only cover their pet team and nothing else, we want a larger perspective.

Contributers are not compensated in anyway. You will not be paid by us. We will not make you famous (well, if we do… I’ll be shocked). This site is just for fun, a place for fans to get together and talk hockey. Don’t expect much more than that — write because you want to.
